There shouldn’t be shame around breaking up with a person at any age - what there should be shame around is choosing and settling for a person you are completely unsatisfied and unhappy with just because you have a deadline to fill.

Heartbreaks suck so bad because the joy that lies in sharing your heart with someone is so fuckin’ amazing. Why would you want to miss out on the magic just because you may have to do some crying and healing and growing after??
