Meals can say more than words. Who sits at the table, what is shared, and whether people are welcome can reveal the state of a relationship.
Leviticus 7 gives instructions for peace offerings. If the offering is given for thanksgiving, it includes unleavened cakes mixed with oil, wafers, and cakes of fine flour, along with leavened bread.
First Corinthians 10 speaks of the cup and bread as participation in the blood and body of Christ, and says that because there is one bread, believers are one body. The peace offering’s shared meal echoes this truth.
God invites His people into fellowship, not only forgiveness at a distance. The peace offering includes gratitude, shared eating, and joy before Him.
Jesus brings true peace with God and gathers His people around Himself. Through His death and resurrection, He creates fellowship deeper than shared interests, personality, or background.
Share one act of fellowship intentionally. Eat with someone, pray with someone, or encourage someone in Christ.

REFLECT & RESPOND
Key Line: Peace with God creates fellowship that is joyful, shared, and holy.
Reflection Question: Where do you need to treat fellowship with God’s people as a gift instead of an obligation or accessory?
Practice: Share one intentional meal, prayer, or encouragement with another believer today.

PRAYER
God, thank You for peace that brings me near to You and connects me to Your people. Forgive me for treating fellowship casually or selfishly. Help me receive the gift of shared worship with reverence and gratitude.
