Day 2: from Proverbs and Psalms

Proverbs 2

- Wisdom calls for seeking understanding like hidden treasure, leading to the fear of the Lord and knowledge of God.

- It protects from the ways of evil men and immoral women, guiding the righteous to walk in integrity.

Psalm 6

- David pleads for mercy in deep distress, crying out to God amid tears and weakness.

- He trusts that the Lord hears his prayer and will turn back his enemies in shame.

Psalm 7

- David appeals to God as righteous judge to deliver him from his pursuers and to vindicate him.

- He declares his innocence and asks the Lord to punish the wicked according to their own evil.

Psalm 8
