Welcome to Day 2 of the Returning Daughter 40-Day Fast. Today, we reflect on Joel 2:12-13 where God calls us to return to Him with all our hearts. Together, we explore what it means to open ourselves fully to God and allow Him to work in the places we have guarded, hidden, or tried to manage on our own.
In this devotion, we are reminded that God desires transformation from the inside out. He asks for our hearts, not our outward actions or appearances. When we surrender the parts of us that have been hurt, hardened, or closed off, He begins to soften and renew them through His grace.
In this devotion we will reflect on:
What it means to return to God with all of our heart
How to let God into the areas we have been protecting or avoiding
Why God’s grace and mercy make healing possible even when it feels hard
Reflection Question:
What area of your life are you still holding back from God, and what would it look like to give it fully to Him?
