Hey Healing Bestie!
In this deeply honest episode of the Trauma to Testimony podcast, we’re kicking off our new series The Return: Healing from Disconnection to Divine Renewal by walking together through what it means when God lovingly confronts us. Spoiler alert: it's not to condemn us—it's an invitation to heal.
We open up 2 Samuel 12:1–14, where Nathan confronts David, and we see how God's love corrects not to shame, but to free. We also get real about the ways we’ve used our words as a defense rooted in trauma, and how the Holy Spirit invites us to speak from a place of healing and surrender instead.
This isn’t easy work, Bestie—but we’re doing it together. If you've been feeling disconnected from God, wrestling with shame, or trying to heal old patterns, this episode will remind you that God is not distant. He’s near, and He’s inviting us back to truth, back to wholeness, and back to Him.
What We’re Talking About:
How to recognize when God is lovingly confronting us
Why God’s correction isn’t rejection—it’s restoration
Using our words from a place of healing, not hurt
