Hey, Healing Bestie! Have you ever felt yourself drifting away from God—caught up in the busyness of life, worries about the future, or just trying to figure things out on your own? I know that feeling all too well.
In this episode, I’m getting real about my own struggles with drifting—how I’ve been so used to working, doing, and figuring things out that I didn’t even realize I was moving away from the stillness God was calling me into. Maybe you’re in a season where you feel distant from God, or maybe just in certain areas of your life. If so, this episode is for you.
I share how God spoke to me through the lilies of the field (Matthew 6:28-34), reminding me that He provides for everything—even our peace when anxiety rises, our hope when uncertainty takes over, and our clarity when we feel lost. But here’s the question I had to ask myself:
Am I running so much that I’m missing what God is already providing?
So many of us are used to striving—used to making things happen, used to controlling outcomes, used to the predictability of a paycheck, a plan, or a process. But what if God is inviting us to trust Him instead of running ahead of Him?
In this episode, we’ll talk about:
-The signs of spiritual drifting & how it creeps in
-My personal struggle with being more like Martha than Mary (Luke 10:38-42)
-How God gently calls us back—even when we’ve wandered
-Why stillness is the key to deeper trust and intimacy with Him
Get Ready for Next Week: We’ll dive deeper into practical steps on how to return to God when you feel distant. If you’ve been wondering, "How do I get back?"—we’ll cover that next!
