Fear can make even faithful people act foolishly. One moment you trust God; the next, pressure hits and you start calculating how to protect yourself.

A severe famine comes to the land, so Abram goes down to Egypt to stay there. As he approaches, he fears that the Egyptians will see Sarai’s beauty, kill him, and take her.

Second Timothy 2:13 says that even when we are faithless, God remains faithful because He cannot deny Himself. Abram’s failure does not cancel God’s promise.

God protects His promise even when His people act badly. He intervenes to guard Sarai and preserve the line through which blessing will come.

Abram risks Sarai to save Himself, but Jesus gives Himself to save His bride, the church. Where Abram’s fear leads to deception, Christ’s love leads to sacrifice.

Think of one place where fear is tempting you to bend the truth. Before you speak or act, choose honesty.

Key Line: Your fear may explain your sin, but it cannot heal what only God’s faithfulness can restore.

PRAYER

God, fear makes me defensive and dishonest. I can protect myself in ways that hurt others. Thank You for staying faithful when I am faithless.
