Welcome to Day 31 of the 100 Days of SHIFT Challenge!

The focus of this week is LEADERSHIP... or dare I say leadershift :) We're going to be defining what leadership may mean to each of us, possibly shifting your mindset to believing that YOU are a leader, discussing what operating with integrity looks like — along with sharing my own personal stories of working with former mentors and what I've learned from them, what I disagree with, and why I no longer associate myself with them.

Today, I want to continue defining what a strong leadership looks like. It isn't about being able to talk loudly and tell people what to do, boss them around, depend their status on their title and look all flashy.

A strong leader knows how to be both courageous and vulnerable. They are fully aware of what they're good at, what they're not, and where their time and energy can best be used. They know how to ask for help, recruit the proper expertise needed, build a team that can work together towards a common goal. They know how to communicate, they are compassionate, and most importantly, they create a safe environment for their team to operate in.
