DAY 38: Exodus 25-27

What if God wants to live near His people—but refuses to lower His holiness?

In today’s episode of Five Minute Bible, we move into Exodus 25–27, where God’s covenant takes on physical form. The voice that thundered from the mountain now gives instructions for a dwelling place. God is not retreating into distance. He is coming near.

But these chapters press a serious tension into view. Nearness does not mean casual access. Presence does not mean familiarity on human terms. If a holy God is going to dwell among sinful people, the way must be provided by God Himself.

As you read today, keep this guiding question in mind:
How can God be near without compromising His holiness—or destroying His people?

Watch how God moves toward His people deliberately, carefully, and purposefully. Boundaries appear. Blood comes first. Access is real, but it is never assumed. Nearness is a gift that must be approached rightly.

Read your Bible carefully, devotionally, and joyfully—and join us tomorrow as God prepares mediators to stand between holiness and humanity.
