Conflict over space can show up everywhere: group chats, seats, opportunities, credit, friend groups, family attention, leadership, money. Someone blocks you, copies you, pushes you out, or makes life harder than it needs to be.

Isaac sows in the land and reaps a hundredfold because the Lord blesses him. He becomes wealthy and powerful, so the Philistines envy him and stop up the wells Abraham’s servants had dug.

Romans 12 tells believers to live peaceably with all, as far as it depends on them. Isaac’s actions show that peace does not mean weakness.

God blesses Isaac in a hostile place and makes room for Him in His timing. Human envy cannot block God’s provision.

Jesus was opposed, envied, rejected, and pushed out, yet He did not build His kingdom through selfish retaliation. He entrusted Himself to the Father and gave His life for sinners.

Think of one conflict that has been taking too much space in your mind. Name it honestly, then ask whether God is calling you to speak, set a boundary, or move on.

REFLECT & RESPOND

Key Line: You can name conflict without letting conflict name you.

Reflection Question: What dispute is taking more of your attention than God is asking it to have?

Practice: Take one peaceful step today: speak calmly, set a boundary, or stop rehearsing the argument.

PRAYER
