Welcome to Day 62 of the 100 Days of SHIFT Challenge!
This week, we're going back to basics and talking about some foundational work. These topics are further extensions and explorations of what we've already gone through in the past 50 or so days!
Today, I want to teach you how to do a quick assessment around your physical environment. We often discuss environment here in terms of the people in our lives and their influence, but our physical environment is also a HUGE factor to our performance and success.
While hustle culture rewards perseverance through hardship and almost encourages you to purposefully LIVE HARD, um.... literally, if you have the access to resources to make things in your life a little easier, FRICKIN DO IT. Like don't be so privileged that you bring more stress into your life because you're bored. Do that at the gym, if you must. But, when it comes to your livelihood and mental capacity, remember that stress will ultimately affect your actual health and well-being.
Be smart. Be effective.
Listen in, pay close attention, take notes, make adjustments.
