DAY 63: Numbers 21–22

Numbers 21–22 shows Israel drawing closer to the promised land while the wilderness continues exposing the human heart. The people complain again and face judgment through fiery serpents, yet God provides healing through the bronze serpent lifted up in the camp. At the same time, a foreign king attempts to curse Israel through the prophet Balaam, only to discover that God’s purposes cannot be manipulated or overturned. These chapters remind us that while human faith wavers, God’s covenant promises remain unshakable—and they ultimately point to Christ, who was lifted up so that all who look to Him in faith may live.
