DAY 64: Numbers 23–25

Numbers 23–25 reveals a powerful contrast between God’s unstoppable blessing and the danger of internal compromise. King Balak hires Balaam to curse Israel, but every attempt is turned into blessing, and a prophecy even emerges of a coming ruler—a star rising from Jacob. Yet while no external curse can defeat God’s people, temptation from within nearly destroys them as Israel falls into idolatry with Moab. These chapters remind us that God’s promises cannot be overturned by enemies, but His people must still guard their hearts—and they ultimately point to Christ, the promised King who defeats both external opposition and the deeper corruption of sin.
