DAY 67: Numbers 31–32
Numbers 31–32 shows Israel preparing for life beyond the wilderness as they approach the promised land. God brings judgment against Midian for the corruption that once led Israel into idolatry, reminding the nation that sin must be confronted before they inherit the promise. At the same time, the tribes of Reuben and Gad request land east of the Jordan but commit to fight alongside the rest of Israel until the conquest is complete. These chapters highlight both justice and unity among God’s people and ultimately point to Christ, who defeats the power of sin and leads His people together toward their promised inheritance.
