Proverbs 7

- A father urges his son to cherish wisdom and insight as close kin, for they protect from the seductive adulterous woman and her flattering words.

- He describes a naive young man lured by a crafty prostitute to her bed while her husband is away, leading him like an animal to slaughter and death.

Psalms 31 - 35

- Psalm 31: David seeks refuge in the Lord amid distress and enemies, committing his spirit to God, trusting in deliverance and praising His unfailing love and protection.

- Psalm 32: Blessedness comes from confessed sin and forgiveness; God protects and instructs the repentant, surrounding them with love and deliverance.

- Psalm 33: Call to praise the faithful Creator whose word formed all things; His plans endure, and He watches over those who fear and hope in Him.

- Psalm 34: David extols constant praise, testifying that God delivers the fearful and righteous from troubles, encamping angels around them and providing every good thing.

- Psalm 35: David pleads for God to fight his unjust enemies, repay their evil, and vindicate him, promising public thanks and praise for salvation.
