Day 71: Deuteronomy 3-4

DAY 72: Deuteronomy 3–4

Deuteronomy 3–4 continues Moses’ first sermon as Israel prepares to enter the promised land. Moses recounts Israel’s victory over King Og of Bashan, reminding the people that their success comes not from their own strength but from the Lord who fights for them. He also tells of his own request to enter the land, which God denies, showing that even Israel’s greatest leader cannot finish the journey. Moses then urges the people to remember the Lord’s mighty works and guard themselves from idolatry. These chapters remind us that faithfulness depends on remembering God’s word and works, and they ultimately point to Christ, the greater mediator who leads His people fully into the inheritance God has promised.
