DAY 72: Deuteronomy 5–7
Deuteronomy 5–7 continues Moses’ sermon as he prepares Israel to enter the promised land. He repeats the Ten Commandments and then calls the people to the deeper heart of the covenant—loving the Lord with all their heart, soul, and strength. Israel is reminded that God chose them not because of their strength or size but because of His covenant love and faithfulness. These chapters show that obedience flows from devotion, and they ultimately point to Christ, who perfectly loved the Father and fulfills the covenant on behalf of His people.
