Proverbs 8

- Wisdom personified calls aloud in public places, inviting all to listen and gain understanding, for her words are righteous, true, and more valuable than riches.

- Created by God before the world began, Wisdom was present at creation and delights in humanity; those who find her find life and God's favor, while rejecting her leads to death.

Psalms 36-40

- Psalm 36: Sin flatters the wicked who have no fear of God, but God's steadfast love extends to the heavens; humanity finds refuge and abundant life in Him.

- Psalm 37: Do not fret over evildoers; trust in the Lord, do good, and inherit the land, for the righteous will endure while the wicked perish.

- Psalm 38: The psalmist pleads for mercy amid suffering from sin and enemies, confessing iniquity and trusting God not to forsake him.

- Psalm 39: Aware of life's brevity, the psalmist restrains his tongue, asks God to remove affliction, and seeks hope before death.

- Psalm 40: God lifted the psalmist from despair, gave a new song of praise; true sacrifice is obedience to God's will, and he waits patiently for deliverance.
