What if justice doesn’t happen here?
In today’s episode of Five Minute Bible, we move into Job 17–20, where the conversation reaches a breaking point. Job’s suffering has not eased, his friends have not relented, and the old explanations are starting to collapse. Something has changed. Job is no longer trying to prove his innocence to men—he is beginning to look beyond them.
These chapters force a dangerous question into the open. If righteousness does not lead to blessing in this life, and if suffering does not always mean guilt, where does justice actually occur? Job’s friends insist the answer must be immediate and visible. Job is no longer convinced.

What happens to faith when every earthly hope is stripped away?
Listen carefully as confidence hardens, hope relocates, and the argument shifts from earth toward heaven. The dialogue is tightening, the tension is rising, and the book is quietly preparing the way for a kind of hope Job has not yet fully named.
