Day 95: Judges 16-18

DAY 95: Judges 16–18
Judges 16–18 reveals the collapse of both a deliverer and true worship, showing how compromise ultimately gives way to full replacement. Samson’s downfall exposes the cost of treating God’s presence lightly, while the rise of Micah’s household religion and the tribe of Dan’s expansion of it reveals how quickly false worship can take root and spread. What appears structured and religious is in fact severed from God’s truth, demonstrating that when His Word is abandoned, people do not become neutral but create substitutes. These chapters ultimately point to Christ, who not only defeats every enemy through His death but restores the true presence of God and establishes worship grounded in divine revelation rather than human invention.
