For the next 5 weeks, the lectionary gives us consecutive readings from James, one of the hardest-hitting books in the New Testament. In this sermon (the first in a series), Fr. Cameron gives some background on James before discussing one of the themes that runs through the rest of the book: to be doers of the word, and not merely hearers who deceive themselves.
