Happy Juneteenth!!!! On the latest installment of the day late dollar short podcast we're celebrating the day African Americans in the south learned they were Actually free. It took two years, from 1863 to 1865 for news from the Union that they had won against the confederacy and that these people could no longer be LEGALLY enslaved. We're also discussing our knowledge of Juneteenth and the trends in it's acknowledgement and being respected as a legitimate holiday. We're also discussing 45's latest Klan rally in Tulsa, OK of all places and it's impotence. The drama regarding J Cole and NONAME and his track "Snow on tha bluff", was it a diss or just a mistimed/misplaced show of support. We're also recapping our Juneteenth party, the highs, highs and the fun times. And lastly but certainly not least Happy Father's Day to all us Fathers out there and enjoy!!!!
