YOGA NIDRA FOR DEEP SLEEP WITH AFFIRMATIONS (26 minutes)
Welcome to Spiritually Fit Yoga! This is Amelia Andaleon are we are on Day 26 of our April Mindful Minute challenge! How were the last three days of your meditations? I know some of you mentioned the longer silent parts are a bit challenging AND that you dropped into deep relaxation and insight. Congratulations! Consistency is key, to condition your muscle of mindfulness. And, if you arrived here for the first time , welcome! Feel free to begin this meditation challenge with Episode 216 or join in for this 26 minute meditation!
Today’s episode is intended to guide you into a deep sleep with affirmations. This is a little reward after working so hard in this meditation challenge! Let me put you to sleep !
This is a yoga nidra with affirmations to feel safe, calm, loved, peaceful, and grateful. Practice this laying down on a comfortable foundation, in your bed, and make yourself as comfortable as possible. You will be invited to repeat affirmations as the body relaxes and mind becomes calm. This track ends in silence allowing you to drift into a deep sleep.
“Deep sleep is a sacred moment.”
CHECK-IN: Before and after each practice check in and rate your stress level from 0 - 5. Note if the number changed after your meditation.
0 = low
5 = high
