For the couple, Peter Stone and Denise MacKay, keeping their music career going as 100 Mile House was enough of a challenge, but when Covid-19 came along, it took them off the stage and full-time at home with a young son. They are doing their best with the situation as they face down what the future could hold. Peter and Denis joined Russell to talk about their life at home and how they are using their music to help others.

Lockdowns and physical distancing rules to curb the spread of COVID-19 have changed the way we do almost everything, including how we exercise and get around and it's changed many people’s relationships with bicycles. CBC science reporter Emily Chung has been looking into exactly how.

The month of April was supposed to be four weeks of performances for Calgary's Verb Theatre as the company had commissioned the festival "Blue Light." It was to be a showcase for theatre work about social media in the modern world. Well, like so many things involving the public, the show had to call down public performances, or so they thought. That doesn't mean cultural types are doing nothing and so Russell gathered together an Alberta writer, a musician and a theatre type. Daryl Cloran is the artistic director at Edmonton's Citadel Theatre. Brenda Damen is a writer who this week was longlisted for the 2020 CBC Short Story Prize.

Easter Sunday is normally a bustling time for Christian churches but that's not the case this year in the face of COVID-19. Some congregations are finding creative ways to worship together despite physical distancing and restrictions on gathering. For example, the Deer Park Church in Red Deer.
