GENESIS 12:1-12 // We see the sovereignty of God manifested in the birth of Isaac as promised to Abraham and Sarah, and His grace and goodness in His compassion to Hagar and Ishmael.

John 4: 7-14 // On Easter Sunday we remember the gift of God. His son, Jesus. We remember that the Gospel conquers our shame and guilt. Today, we remember that He is risen and His living water satisfies forever.

GENESIS 20:1-18 // In this passage , we see the humanity of Abraham as he struggles in his faith in God's promises, contrasted against the graciousness of an unfailing God.

GENESIS 18:1-19 // While none are righteous in all of Sodom, Abraham intercedes for Lot.  The LORD shows His mercy to Lot just as he shows His mercy to us as a result of Jesus' intercession on our behalf.

GENESIS 17:1-27 // We are reminded that we serve a God of promise and covenant that controls our circumstances and that is faithful to remember and keep His people.
