This May marks the 15th anniversary of Koby Mandell’s murder, and is also the month in which Israel observes Memorial Day, honoring the nearly 30,000 victims of war and terror. Unlike Memorial Day in the US, in Israel it is a solemn occasion. Seeing the number of Israelis who visit the graves of their loved ones affirms the truism that nearly everyone in Israel has been touched by war or terror.
