Fulfilling a promise set in stone eons ago (it was last year in the Crimson Butterflies episode) Thomas Wilde and Will Borger return to talk about Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. This cult hit on the gamecube was the sophmore follow-up from the team that created Blood Omen (ignore that half the switched studios to make Soul Reaver), Eternal Darkness was the first M-Rated game published directly by Nintendo. It's a mind-bending, globe-trotting, time-bending tale of eldritch horror never since attempted. Is there a reason such horrors were left buried?
Also this episode might as well be considered a double-feature about Silent Hill 2.

On this prelude to All Hallow's Eve, Bro and Murph have a bad idea and decide to talk about FNAF on the internet. Specifically the trilogy of Five Nights at Freddy's 1,2, & 3.. To help them in this endeavor they recruit the Champion of Bad Ideas, Froo from This Podcast is a Bad Idea. Deep lore is shared (not about the games, but the guests) and a dissection of Freddy's appeal is attempted.

Normally we have a Castlevania episode for October, but this year Bro and Murph wanted to give host to a very different kind of vampire, one that wavers much further from already thin line between living and dead that his kind walk. Legacy of Kain expert Brendan Hesse is summoned to talk about Soul Reaver, the immediate sequel to Blood Omen (there's also a Blood Omen 2, but don't worry about that). This cult classic of the Dreamcast is known for it's gothic mood and superb writing, but can all that sustain the number of sliding block puzzles you must do?
This episode the typical variety minute has been eschewed for extended discussion of current fighting games and how our hosts have progressed with them.

WHAT A WILD RIDE! Murph and Bro are back in space to talk about Star Wars Battlefront II.We talk about a lot of other stuff too though. There was a Steam Nextfest. Murph played the first Yakuza RPG. We also talked about Devil Spire, Nightmare Kart, Fallen Aces, and Skald!
Our game of the week is an interesting one because if you grew up in a specific era, this was a ubiquitous crowd pleaser. Murph wonders who HASN'T played this game.

Bro and Murph find themselves in a double-stuffed wasteland as they tackle the original Fallout games from Interplay and Black Isle. The wastes are full of atomic terrors, so they recruit STACKonteur Stephen to help them out. Do these legendary games hold up to modern sensibilities, and did you know there is a car in Fallout 2?
On the way we'll go over some releases raging from the hellish to the multiversal. Take your radaway and hunker down friends, this is a long one.

In our cosmic journey in the space between spaces we've came across a luminous being. It's David Punch from the Twin Geeks network! We all missed him, and now it's time to catch up on all the games he's played. Mainly, Balatro and Boktai.
Murph and Bro talk Animal Well, while Bro talks Crow Country. Murph carries a gunbrella, ella, ella, ey, ey, ey.
The variety minute is physical gimmicks or mechanics in gaming, a lot of it is about controllers or add ons but there's some pretty interesting gems in there.
