In this meditation we are reminded of four things. The first three are that we are to pray with an alert mind, to be cheerful no matter what and that whatever we do or say, to do it as one who represents Jesus. The fourth thing we are to do is to be thankful to the God of the universe. Choosing to be alert, cheerful and honoring of our position as Jesus’ ambassadors, positions our minds and hearts to recognize and realize our breath is from the God of heaven and earth. As you listen today, think about being ‘with God’. What does that mean to you? We often think about God being ‘with us’ but what does it look like to be with Him?! One can argue it is the same – and yes, it is. However, our perspective shifts with the phrasing – with us vs. with Him. Might we challenge ourselves to go with Him, do what He does and say what He tells us to say? Might we sit quietly as we listen and let Him be the leader for the day? Where will we go?
