The truth of being free in Christ is explained in today’s meditation. It is sometimes hard for us to comprehend the reality of this as we tend to interpret freedom with movement and choices. The Scriptures speak of us being rescued from ‘the tyrannical rule of darkness’, and this rescue releases us from the chains of sin.
