Storms are an inevitable part of everyone's life. Instead of avoiding the storms, Pastor Chuck Osborne encourages us with the decision we can while in the storm to help us find the peace that evades us.

Pastor Chuck emphasized the importance of seeing and valuing those whom society often overlooks. The disciples attempted to turn children away, but Jesus responded with urgency, teaching that the kingdom of God belongs to those who approach with childlike faith (Mark 10:13-15). By taking the children in His arms and blessing them, Jesus demonstrated the power of simple acts of love (v. 16). Our mission is to pay attention—who needs a blessing around us today?

Samuel initially judged Jesse’s sons by appearance, but God emphasized that He looks at the heart, not outward appearances (v. 6-10). David, the overlooked youngest son, was chosen, teaching us that God often uses what we hold back for His purpose (v. 11-13).

Israel demanded a king to be like other nations, rejecting God as their true King. Despite warnings of hardship, they insisted on their own way, leading to future regret. Like King Saul, when we prioritize our desires over God’s guidance, we risk creating the very problems we fear. Pastor Alex challenges us to trust God fully instead of taking control.

In Pastor Chuck’s message, Questions of the Heart, we are challenged to examine our commitment to the Lord through the contrasting lives of Samuel and Eli's sons. Samuel remained faithful and grew in favor with God and people, while Eli’s sons rejected God, leading to judgment. This passage asks us to reflect on our faithfulness, moral choices, and the rewards or consequences that come with them. Samuel’s example inspires us to live faithfully, knowing that a life rooted in God brings blessing and favor.

In Pastor Chuck's message, Heart Issue – Prayer, we explore Hannah's journey of faith, honesty, and surrender to God. Hannah faced societal judgment and personal provocation but chose to take her anguish to the Lord in prayer. She prayed honestly, passionately, and with commitment, and her faith transformed her perspective and circumstances. Ultimately, Hannah surrendered her blessing back to God, trusting Him fully. This story challenges us to examine our own approach to prayer and to find our self-worth in God's love and provision.

In Pastor Chuck’s message, The Gift of Love, we explore love’s origins and expressions through the lens of a father, a mother, and our Savior. Love provides, protects, and shapes us, as seen in Joseph’s care for Jesus. It comforts, values, and teaches, as demonstrated by Mary’s tender heart. Most importantly, love sacrifices, as Jesus exemplifies by laying down His life for us. God is love, and through Him, we learn to love one another.
