In this episode, to mark International Women’s Day 2026, I reflect on reading Untamed by Glennon Doyle and how it completely changed the way I see myself as a woman.
We unpack the narrative the patriarchy has spun about single women to keep us controlled, and how so many of us have been conditioned from a young age to question ourselves, shrink ourselves, and carry shame that was never ours to begin with.
But once we begin to see the cages built around women from the time we are little girls, it becomes easier to step outside of them.
This episode is about unlearning those stories — about questioning the rules we’ve been handed, reclaiming our voices, and recognising that feminism isn’t a dirty word.
It’s about waking up.
