Was offered the project around the time of Annabelle: Creation test screenings

Asked about Golden Age vs. New 52 - “There was a lot of it already there that they had worked on before I came along. So it has a lot of elements from the New 52, a lot of those characters, so it was just sort of finding a version of that that worked. The basis of the story his origin, was pretty much there from the start.”

“You kinda have to do your thing, because no matter what you do somebody is gonna hate you...It was a little bit of a shock how intense the fans could be.”

“Are you gonna make him funny or youthful? Well, yeah he’s a kid.”

Tried to use practical effects and shoot on location whenever they could

Took 2 weeks after filming before getting into editing; will see if they need any reshoots or additional photography
