DC House Grooves Meet the Locals Podcast

DC House Grooves 182 marked our first broadcast of 2026, streaming live on the Underground Quality Live YouTube channel. Residents Andy Grant and Katrina Mir returned to the studio for a proper vinyl session, setting the tone for the year ahead the only way we know how: deep cuts, long blends, and heads-down energy from start to finish.

A serious stack of new records had landed over the holidays and into January, and we gave them a full workout. The session moved through underground house, Detroit-leaning techno, electro pressure, acid textures, and everything in between. No shortcuts. No playlists. Just records on turntables, live and direct.

From the first blend to the final fade, DC House Grooves 182 delivers focused, basement-level transmission and a strong opening statement for 2026. If you locked in live, you felt it. If you’re catching the archive, turn it up and step inside.

On Saturday, December 20, DC House Grooves returned to the Underground Quality Live YouTube channel for Episode 181, a residents-only session with Andy Grant & Katrina Mir at the controls. No guest, no distractions, just the core sound, locked in and delivered the way it’s meant to be heard.

Resident nights are where DC House Grooves goes deepest. The session unfolded with long blends, patient sequencing, and carefully dug selections spanning underground house, techno, electro, and acid, all pressed to wax, mixed live, and guided by feel rather than formula.

From the first record to the last fade, the session rewarded anyone willing to stay with it. Pure vinyl pressure, immersive visuals, and the signature DC House Grooves flow combined into a deep, uninterrupted ride.
