DCOMmentary

We made it to the last Halloweentown movie! This week we discuss the Halloweentown movie that doesn't feel like a Halloweentown movie, as well as unsanitary ice cream practices, societal structure of Halloweentown, and Ethan Dalloway's experience in witness protection.

Next week: Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century

This week we watched the third Halloweentown movie, Halloweentown High! We continue the Sophie debate, talk about Halloweentown/World History that we clearly know nothing about, and theorize how the Halloweentown world is connected to the High School Musical world.

Rules are meant to be broken. Especially in the Halloweentown universe, apparently. This week we watched Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge and discussed the rules of time travel, sibling dynamics, and asked a whole lot of questions.

When you woke up today, did you say today I'm gonna talk, or today I'm gonna listen to a podcast about a movie about aggressive inline skating?

Follow us on Instagram and Twitter @DCOMmentary and send us your ranking of Halloweentown movies before the next episode!

To summarize our review of the second DCOM: we have a lot of questions. Join us in our attempt to define the Midwest, a loose comparison to Annie, and a whole lot of questions about what is even going on in this movie as we discuss You Lucky Dog staring Candace Cameron Bure's brother Kirk Cameron.

In our first full episode, we unravel (see what we did there) the first ever DCOM, Under Wraps! We discuss mummies who know about indoor plumbing, suburban museums, and how quarantine has turned us all into Harold the Mummy. Let us know what you think on Instagram and Twitter @DCOMmentaryPod and watch You Lucky Dog on Disney+ for next week!

Welcome to DCOMmentary, a Disney Channel Original Movie rewatch podcast hosted by Alicia Eadon and Laura Matteo! Each week we will be watching and discussing the movies that molded us. In this episode, we introduce the pod and rank our top 5 DCOMs.
