Atreyee graduated from Dublin City Schools in 2021. After high school, she pursued the pre-med track at The Ohio State University where she is a 4th year pre-med student majoring in Health Sciences. Tune in for great advice that will help any student, especially those considering a pre-med track after high school.

• Atreyee's motivation for wanting to become a doctor.
• The thought process Atreyee used when selecting Health Sciences as her major as well as some of the other majors student on this path can choose.
• Suggestions on how to get relevant experience in high school that will help you determine if this path is a good fit for you.
• The benefits gained from taking an entry level position in a healthcare facility or a non-profit organization and how this has helped Atreyee on her journey to becoming a doctor.

This episode features a conversation with Dr. Tim Murphy from the University of Findlay. Dr. Murphy has been teaching students about environmental science and sustainability for almost three decades and shares a wealth of knowledge throughout this conversation. His credibility comes not only from his long standing tenure as a college professor but also from prior professional roles in environmental and public health. He has contributed to many environmental clean-up efforts throughout his career and went into higher education so he could inspire and train others to make an impact in this honorable field.

In addition to sharing many ideas about career opportunities, he also emphasizes the importance of experiential learning through internships and how the University of Findlay builds this into their environmental science program. Students are encouraged to explore different areas of interest so they can graduate with the experience necessary to land high-paying, fulfilling jobs in an industry that's making a positive impact on our planet.

Matthew graduated from Dublin City Schools in 2020. He then went on to attend the United States Naval Academy where he earned a degree in Mathematics with Economics. Currently he is a Student Naval Aviator in Pensacola, FL where he is training to become a pilot for the U.S. Navy.

Currently he is pursuing a career in Business Intelligence/Consulting with a concentration on the healthcare industry.

Jessica graduated from Dublin City Schools in 2018 and went on to earn a degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri. She is currently a reporter for Inside Higher Ed in Washington DC. Tune in to hear how Jessica's early experiences led her to a fulfilling career in this competitive field.

Trisha graduated from Dublin City Schools in 2021. After high school, she pursued the pre-med track at Case Western Reserve University where she majored in Medical Anthropology. She is transferring to The Ohio State University this fall as this will give her an opportunity to complete a master's degree in public health alongside finishing up her undergrad degree prior to going on to medical school.
