Last time on Shadow of the Dragon Queen: The heroes successfully aided the alliance forces in escaping the immediate wrath of Lord Soth’s floating citadel, but with it being loaded with the Dragonarmy troops, there isn’t much time before Lord Soth sets his sights on Kalaman. Darrett Highwater has tasked the heroes with returning to Kalaman and informing Marshal Nestra Vendri about the destruction of Onyari and the imminent arrival of the Dragonarmy atop Lord Soth’s flying Citadel. They must traverse the dangerous northern wastes to board Alliance ships docked outside Drad Wolf Cove. En route they become painfully aware that the Dragonarmy is still crawling the wastes and collecting Wasteland Dragonnel’s to train as mounts. The coming battle at Kalaman will be a decisive moment in this War.
