The role of the Deacon is that of seeing that all needs within the church are cared for. They become instrumental in not just the physical feeding of the saints, but in the spiritual feeding of the Saints. This week we’ll once again hear Paul’s words to Timothy regarding this most crucial role in the church, and we may find through the text that we have significantly more Deacons than you might realize… in fact you may be surprised to find that you are functioning as one already!
