About Kevin Burk
How to get everything you want AND be happy with Astrology
and the Human Game.
The Human Game™ is a philosophy built on the idea that the
Universe is made up of stories. If everything is a story, when you understand
stories, you can understand anything—including happiness.
Your life is a story, and you are the main character of the
Story of Your Life. Every choice you make in your life is intended to move you
closer to your ultimate goal: to get everything you’ve ever wanted. The reason
you want everything you’ve ever wanted is that you believe when you get
everything you’ve ever wanted, you’ll live happily ever after.
This doesn’t mean what you think it means.
Happily ever after is not the end of the story of your life.
Happily ever after means your life goes on—ever after—and that happiness is
taken for granted. Happily ever after means you have a foundation of happiness.
Happily ever after isn’t a happy ending. Happily ever after is a happy
beginning. The Story of Your Life is just getting started—and it’s about to get
GOOD.
Your current goal is happiness. To achieve a goal, you need
to know three things. You need to know what it is, you need to know where it
is, and you need to know how to get there. At the moment, you don’t know what
happiness is or where it is, so how you’re trying to get there doesn’t matter.
The Human Game will give you better answers to all three of
these questions. You will know what happiness is and what’s required to
experience it. You will know where happiness is. And you will understand your
current approach to happiness—and what you can do to improve it.
Not only will the Human Game transform happiness from a
vague idea into something practical you can achieve—it can also help you to get
there. With the Human Game, you can build a Happiness GPS that uses the map of
your unique birth chart to give you turn-by-turn directions to the best
possible outcome in any situation.

Katie Wenger experienced an early interest in the field of
Psychology after an engaging high school course on the subject. She then
followed that interest which quickly became a passion to Penn State University
where she majored in Psychology and minored in Human Development and Family
Studies. After learning from some innovative and highly experienced professors
at Penn State, she focused her passion on developing a career in therapy.
Attending Temple University where she received a Master’s of Social Work
degree, she learned further a broad perspective of the human experience and
needs of individuals, couples and families and how to best support them.
Shortly after, she earned her Clinical license and began working in the field
of individual and couple’s therapy.
Katie has been practicing psychotherapy for 18 years and
educates clients nationwide through her company, Higher Fulfillment. The materials offered include courses for
individuals and couples, webinars, consultations, the affirmation book, her
upcoming book which will be released in April of 2023: Obstacles Under the Surface: How to Keep Your Subconscious from Negatively
Impacting Your Life, and the podcast "Obstacles Under the Surface". Katie's practice is dedicated to helping
individuals and couples find peace and flourish through relationship
challenges.
About Katie Wenger
You are familiar with the dark, difficult stretches of your
thoughts and how you feel lost, confused and unhappy. They seep into your mindset and make you feel
unsure and depressed. What if these
thoughts came from patterns that are obstacles to your happiness? In relationships, in life choices, in your
daily mindset, and in your view of yourself - they cause obstacles. In therapy, you push yourself and try to
figure it out and change it but you keep coming back to that word “stuck” and
things that feel uncomfortably familiar.
Sitting at my desk, reflecting on my career and what it has
taught me, my thoughts move to an internal remembrance of clients whose
progress stalls. They often report
feeling frustrated and disempowered when they are trying to make change and
can’t move forward. Their motivation
dwindles. They may doubt themselves. As
a therapist, I challenge them to take time to feel all of this, allow the human
condition, and give space to this experience. This is a time of self-exploration when the emotions eventually largely
dissipate. Dig deeper into who you are
and what is really holding you back.
When you feel like there is something holding you back, you
may be detecting an obstacle that is present but unrecognized. Reaching into therapeutic methods and
strategies and possibly seeing some progress but it is not always enough to
regain your happiness or potentially break these patterns. Or you may leave, feeling renewed, and then
find that you are back in that familiar cycle with that familiar type of person
or situation. You may blame yourself but
it is the patterns, the obstacles under the surface. You can only make so much change within
yourself. However, if you don’t identify
these obstacles through exploration, you will be there again. Let’s find your way to move past them for
good.

Aaron has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. He has
worked with small businesses and startups where he developed a unique systems
perspective on business and family. His work in the academic and business
worlds led him to understand how related our families and business dynamics
are. He and his wife have run the largest Irish Dance school in Utah for over
20 years. He has built multiple companies, consulted across multiple
industries, and helped raise $54 million as the COO of a technology company. He
lives in Utah with his wife and four children.
About Aaron Shelley
It always seemed like my friends and I were primed for
success. I grew up in a suburban neighborhood and there were about ten boys
around that became my friends. We went to the same church. We went to the same
schools. We were all in the same scout troop. We played sports in the street
almost every day. We regularly played video games and board games together. Our
families all had about the same amount of money. We all had two parents in the
home. We were all living the American middle-class lifestyle.
After high school, we all went our separate ways, and that
is when things started to go off the rails.
Two years after high school, the parents of my best friend
John got divorced. I had spent hours playing at their home, jumping on their
trampoline, watching TV, and now with three kids still at home, they divorced.
A few years later, another friend’s parents got divorced. I had played board
games at their house almost every week growing up.
So much for happily ever after.
As we grew older, I went to college, got married, got an
engineering degree, got a business degree, had four kids and started a
business. One friend became a lawyer, got married, and then got divorced. One
had six kids, had serious health issues and worked a blue-collar job for a
logistics company. One started his own construction company and had four kids.
And one was sentenced to life without parole in prison for rape and attempted
murder of a twenty-year-old woman.
Wait! What? I had become a little numb to the divorces, but
I was shocked when my friend went to prison for rape and attempted murder. A
failed marriage is one thing, but life in prison is completely different. Have
you ever had a friend do something so bad that you wonder if you even really
knew them?
How did we turn out so differently? We were all raised in
the same middle-class neighborhood, same schools, same activities, and yet the
outcomes of our lives varied so wildly. As a husband and parent to four
children, I became obsessed in trying to understand why families turn out the
way they do so that I could protect my family from these problems.
At the time, I was forty years old and had just finished
work at a failed startup company. I was also working on another startup and
doing consulting. It was during this time that I finally found the answer to my
question. On one project, I was interviewing people with different family
structures for a professor that was writing a book on the relationship between
entrepreneurship levels and family. On another consulting job I was managing
all the processes, systems, and people at a small fulfillment company.
This weird combination of researching family and managing a
small business at the same time led me to the insight that family and business
are actually very similar. Both a family and a business are a group of people
working together so they can survive and grow. Of course, there are
differences—like families usually being biologically related, unlike coworkers,
and parents’ inability to fire their children—but at a high level, families act
very similar to small businesses. I know you probably don’t believe me, and I’d
be skeptical, too. Business is always portrayed as being heartless and
uncaring, and no one wants a family like that. Just stick with me and let's see
if you agree or not.

Nick Drivas is an Online Personal
Development Coach that focuses on building the best possible YOU to hit
that next level.
After being a porn addict for 10+ years, he finally decided
to make a change for himself focusing on his fitness, mindset, and nutrition.
He was at the point of suicide before making this change,
the program he teaches now to others was the same program that saved his own
life.
About Nick Drivas
I had a 10+ year porn addiction that I was able to get over
since running my business. I found myself always digging a deeper hole for
myself when I went to the porn and it only made my life worse. Growing up
through my teenage years and early twenties, I had no confidence, always walked
all over by others and felt weak as a man.
At 21, I started my online fitness coaching business and the
porn was still taking over my life as I tried to build my business up. It left
me hopeless, I wanted to end it all from my business to my life itself.
Last year, I was able to finally dig myself out of this rut
I built for myself by hiring a coach to make my discipline bulletproof and
build strong habits for myself.
I found that my program I teach now is focusing on helping
you develop the discipline through daily habits of fitness, mindset, and
nutrition to end your porn or any addiction you may have. It worked for me and
I had to grow into the person I am today to make my business work in my favor.

I am Wilk Wilkinson, husband, father, Christian
conservative, and host of the Derate The Hate podcast. I’m a man who has, over
the course of my life, made more than my share of mistakes, but most
importantly, I've owned up to them and I’ve learned from them. I grew up poor,
mostly in rural towns around the upper Midwest. I've been working from the age
of 10 years old so that I might have the things my parents could not or for
good reason, would not provide for me. For all their faults, my parents
provided what was needed, of which were love and good values.
We moved a lot as I was growing up. I was in far more
schools throughout my k-12 years that I completed grades. I was bullied
incessantly through much of grade school and learned a lot from that
experience, good and bad. I’ve been able to overcome a lot of anger and
animosity over the years and try to share my experiences in a way that helps
others do the same. My failures have been my most successful teachers. I've
grown to become successful in my career, marriage, and parenting in ways I
never would have imagined as a younger person. Through my podcast, I attempt to
share with others the tips and tools I’ve used to change the trajectory of my
life. Topics regularly include personal accountability, gratitude, civility,
mindset, and so much more.
We cannot control everything that happens to us in life, or
the world in which we live, but we have the absolute responsibility as
individuals to control how we will react to it. Civility does not require that
we force our opinions on others, demand like mindedness, or hate those with
whom we disagree, but simply to see the humanity in all people despite our
differences, whatever those differences may be.

About Wilk Wilkinson
Bettering the world one attitude at a time. We did not
create the hate, but with your help, we can DERATE THE HATE… In a world filled
with divisiveness, frustration and lack of happiness, it’s time we all start to
get along. (even with those people with an opinion or mindset that differs from
our own) That all starts with each of us as individuals. We cannot necessarily
control everything we encounter within our day to day lives, or the environment
in which we live, but we certainly have the ability to control how we react to
it. It all starts with gratitude and personal accountability.
Civility does not require that we force our opinions on
others, demand like mindedness, or hate those with whom we disagree, but simply
seeing the humanity in all people despite our differences, whatever they may
be.
Life is about choices. In most cases, being happy is a
choice, so is being miserable. Misery and unhappiness often stem from an always
offended mindset or what I call the perpetual victim mentality. Smiles and bad
moods are contagious, so those who choose to be miserable often bring those around
them down, the converse is true with happiness. Choices always have
consequences. Make good choices.
Take a listen and see if there is something here to help you
in taking your part in turning down the hate. Welcome to the Derate The Hate

I help people launch top 3% podcasts with 0 paid promotion
in 5 meetings or less using a proven launch strategy to create content people
actually want to watch.
Beyond that, I'm SullyBop; I live a second life as a rapper
and DJ of 8 years performing and hosting over 300 live events.
If a mechanic can figure it out, so can you.
About Ryan Sullivan
First, thank you for reading. This is my bio, so be aware
that I'm going deep on, "me" but I don't expect our episode to be so
me-centric, unless you want it to.
TLDR on Sully:
- Worked as a mechanic for 4 years, sold and flipped 30+
cars
- Made $80 my first 90 days of freelancing and been
independent ever since
- Took 3.5g of mushrooms and almost died on a river, but
escaped to tell the story
- Found and paid mentors along the way who are now my peers
- Launched a podcast in my parents garage that now reaches
thousands
- Released 2 mixtapes, 1 album and created 100+ songs with 0
experience
- Launched a podcast coaching agency and hired my best
friends to help
The Story:
One of my first podcast guests, Brian Conklin passed away in
a tragic car accident in 2021. Most of what I do today is inspired by him and
my biggest accomplishment is the fact that his family can hear him speak for 2
hours because of that episode. Money, followers - none of it is important in
the end, and that's what I'm focused on.
At the age of 16, I started recording hiphop music with
friends. Since then, I've developed a brand around my stage name,
"SullyBop." I've DJ'd, performed and hosted hundred of events and
it's undoubtedly an interest, turned passion.
I launched a podcast on a whim in 2018 after watching
countless hours of Gary Vee. After meeting him in 2019, I vowed to dedicate my
life to creating a business around helping people create podcasts. Since then,
I've interviewed over 100 people on my show, and helped over 100 more
podcasters and future podcasters.
I have found a way to pursue my dreams at 24 years old and I
couldn't be more grateful to share some time with you on your show.

5 years ago, she was painting murals as a federal inmate now
she's launched an environmentally friendly clothing brand based on her art. She
has also been working with state representatives to get better laws on the
table that protect people - some passed.
About Elizabeth Mikotowicz
In her 20's she barely survived a very violent relationship;
he assaulted her with a wooden dowel, and you could see her skull when it
happened. The Drs gave her opioids, and when she refused, they threatened her
with child protective services because she was pregnant and refusing medical
advice. She Was told she was on too small a dose to get addicted. Eventually,
she went to the DV shelter and was turned away, they said her injury was too
severe and it put the other women in danger. She survived because drug dealers
helped her - or took advantage depending on how you look at it. She eventually
went to federal prison for a non-violent drug charge. She endured and witnessed
so much institutional abuse, corruption, systemic racism, and cruelty;
sometimes she still wakes up screaming. But! She's turned it all around and
launched an environmentally friendly feminine brand that is being sold in stores
and comes in plus sizes. She has gotten bills put on the table and passed for
the good of the people- not corporations and institutions. She is letting the
world know what America "land of the free" is doing to its
incarcerated population which is the highest rate in the world. She is also
exposing other systemic abuse and corruption that effects Americans every day.
She is sharing her healing journey and what she has learned about her own
trauma and mental health.
