Today would have been my dad's 75th birthday (I guess technically it still is, but you know what I mean!) I spent the day feeling hesitant if I wanted to post anything today, but in my heart I know my dad would want me to keep being the girl he raised me to be, the one who isnt afraid to be honest, funny and a little vulnerable. So, here's to you dad. Though I wish we were spending the day together celebrating both you and the Ethiopian New Year, I know you're up there having quite the party

Hey DDC fam. Father's Day is here again and I just wanted to pop in and say yes, this day can be hard and frustrating and feel like it will never end, or maybe it's joyful and light and full of happy memories. No matter what Father's Day looks like for you now, just remember you are never alone. There's an entire community of grievers standing behind you.
So please enjoy our first ever DDC minisode and may your Father's Day be whatever it will be.
See you next time.

Two friends. Two dead dads. One seriously good episode.
Welcome back to another episode of the Dead Dad's Club podcast. This week, I sit down with my former roommate and long time friend, Blair, as we discuss losing our dads, supporting our moms, On The Border's happy hour deals and everything in between. Oh, and we laugh....like a lot (but that's pretty on brand for us). This episode is a super fun one and a gentle reminder that navigating grief is so much easier when you have your village there to support you along the way.

Did you miss me? Well, fret no more because we are back this week with a brand new episode of Dead Dads Club, the show where the dads are dead but the vibes are still okay!
This week we sit down with the creative force Debbie Alamrew. Debbie shares with us what it means to try and tackle creativity again in the face of grief and how her dad shaped her into the woman she is today. Plus, what are the right (and wrong) things to say to someone who is grieving and how do we honor those we aren't quite ready to let go of.

We're back with another episode of the Dead Dads Club, the show where the dads are dead but the vibes are still okay!
This week, we sit down with entrepreneur and new friend of the show Lila Sullivan! After losing her dad suddenly and unexpectedly as a teenager, Lila has found that you can either let grief consume you, or you can hold on to the love of the person you lost and allow grief to become a part of your story, not the entire thing! Now she shares all her tips and tricks on navigating grief on social media (follow her!) and somehow manages to run her business all at the same time!

Welcome back to another episode of the Dead Dads Club, the show where the dads are dead but the vibes are still okay!
This week, we sit down with actress and new queen of Delta Airlines Rebekah Scott as she tell us about her pioneer (and pastor) of a father who led his family and community with grace, humility and strength (can the church say Amen!). In this episode, Rebekah highlights the high highs and the low lows she's experienced since losing her daddy and reminds all of us that grief isn't our enemy, even though it may feel like it sometimes.

Welcome to the Dead Dads Club Podcast, the show where the dads are dead, but the vibes are still okay! On this show we will explore loss, grief and the effects of losing ones father.
We kick off our first episode with my guest Nicky who lost her father in December 2022. This week she tells us all about how one doctor's mistake cost her family everything and what happens when you are left to be the one to pick up pieces, despite having to navigate your own grief.
