Deadly Indeed
When the previous book ended, the crew was not much more than a small, rag-tag band of disparate people thrown together by circumstance. Trust was uneasy. Harmony did not quite exist. Read, now, the third installment in Drew Averaâs space opera, The Alorian Wars, as circumstance draws them closer and trust grows as the plot pushes them into a dangerous situation.
Mr. Averaâs writing skills improve with each new book that comes out. With Deadly Refuge, he fleshes out the main characters, complicates the plot, introduces some new characters and reacquaints us with and old foe. The story is well written, draws the reader into the continuing tale and is neither a waste of the readerâs time nor money.
I was originally given a copy of Deadly Refuge in exchange for an unbiased review. I liked the book well enough to purchase a copy in support of his growing writing skills and storytelling ability and look forward to the next when it comes out.
Good read.
A little soft on the action side but it was ok. The story was not my type of action it

The mix of characters is not quite right. Not strong enough as individuals or together.
The battle continues on
More twist and turns in book two, the author keeps us on our toes. The Replicate needs supplies and repairs, but things never go as planned. Replicate crew have to fight once again for their lives, but help comes from a unexpected place.
