Complete Story of the Deadly Webs - No Cliffhanger Ending - Beware the Language, Otherwise a Compelling Read

Written in gritty, Adult English, the Deadly Webs Omnibus may not be the ideal mystery to share with your prayer group, but it is an intriguing mystery.
I won't spend a great deal of time reviewing this set of three novellas compiled into a single title. I will leave links to the individual titles so you can get a solid understanding of each story, but, may also stumble across spoilers.
Oh, and one point you need not worry about with this is that it is a complete story. No cliffhanger ending. For some of you this is the version you've been waiting for and it is offered free as I post this review.

Deadly Webs Omnibus
Nothing entertains me more than a great mystery novel and this one definitely was a great read. As the widow of a cop I was able to relate to this storyline on so many levels, police officers and their dangerous lives and crazy hours, grief over the loss of a spouse that never goes away, for starters. And as a former nurse who also did child protective services for several years I could also relate to the children's issues. Hopefully I will get to read a lot more of this author's writing.
Good read
This was a good read, fast paced and kept my interest. I wish there had been more fleshing out of the characters though. The unfolding of Grant's story was too slow for me. I know it was meant to be drawn out but sometimes I think authors drag it out too far. I hope there are more books with the two main characters and they get to develop more in front of our eyes. I am intrigued by where they could take us.
Good book but it could have been so much better
It was really exciting in the beginning. It could have kept going without all the crazy stuff. And then there was so much repetition and dragged on and on. I thought I would scream if Mocks flipped her Bic one more time or if Grant rubbed his ring again. And the villans just kept coming and getting away.
Good read
Very good read. Complex characters and a plot full of twists. But a easy read because the plot is rational and if you try to figure out what will happen you can figure several outcomes. The most reasonable outcome was usually where the book would go.
