I think most people are unsure of how to deal with they're emotions because they don't fully understand why they are the way they are. When you can identify and verbalize and cope and understand and respect who you are as a person it opens the doors to interpret the emotions we do have when we have them. And grants us a certain type of awareness in the moments we are feeling these emotions enough to listen and learn from them.
