There’s so much that we cannot control. There’s so much we don’t have figured out. We stress over every little thing wrong and we turn to vices as opposed to connection. So what does exposure do for us?
For me, it’s always been sort of a catalyst for an open mind. If you are lucky enough to travel what I’ve been able to realize is that it allows for perspective to flow through your veins.
You become exposed to different ideas, ways of thinking and most importantly a shift in culture. What happens when you’ve experienced more than someone else?
You have knowledge that others do not. You become a real canvas within your own self mixed with beautiful trials. It all allows for more in depth analysis of not just who you are, but what you honestly hold true as far as values go.
From the moment we are born we are constantly bombarded with different views in different things and if we do not expose ourselves to different ways of doing things, then 2+2 will always equal 4.
What if that’s the only math problem you knew?.. Then someone comes along and tells you that 1+3 also equals 4 and it totally throws you off…
However, what if you knew how to reach 4 using different methods?… For example 2×2=4, 8÷2=4. That’s what happens with exposure. We figure out different ways of reaching our 4, or whatever it is you’re trying to reach.
There’s always more than one way of doing things and there is always more than meets the eye. Don't forget to post this in your stories and tag me so I can personally thank you! Here is a link if you want to dive deeper into some content. Linktr.ee/smartineziv
