This episode features Dr. Madelyn Douglas, fondly known as Dr. D. She shares her experience of the death of her husband of 40 years and her journey with that experience. She eloquently says "there is life after death". Dr. Madelyn Douglas has been a Youth Director for over 35 years in the Kansas City area. She is also a former Director of Niles Home for Children. She is a certified Marriage and Family Counselor, a life coach, a playwrite an author, an ordained minister of the gospel, and most importantly a mother and grandmother.
She is a graduate of Faith Bible College and is Board Certification as a 'Marriage and Family Christian Therapist" from the American Society of Christian Therapist in 2001. She encourages us by saying “weeping may ensue for a night, but joy comes in the morning”. She is now helping other widows walk through their journey of grief and loss.
