New Zealand's domestic and international schedules have been announced, and the Top Order is deep-diving into a player-driven preview of our home summer.

First cab off the rank is Northern Districts batsman Dean Brownlie. We cover preseason, the challenges of being spread out over multiple districts, players to watch, expectations for the Plunket Shield, Ford Trophy & Super Smash season ahead and find out which bowler bowls off 18 yards in the nets (there's always one - or two in this case).
