When I think of the standard discipline practices done by the Black community to our youth, the song "Fear" by Kendrick Lamar immediately comes to mind. After watching a podcast with writer and Podcaster Toure and Stacey Patton, I felt moved to speak on how discipline looks in the Black community and how it needs to evolve if we don't want to continue getting left behind. We have to mold our youth into being better communicators by communicating! We are not raising pit bulls!?!?!
