“The most disrespected person in America is the black woman. The most unprotected person in America is the black woman. The most neglected person in America is the black woman”. Malcolm X said that in 1962, and 58 years later we still live in a country that devalues, disrespects and undermines black women. From the fraudulent handling of the Breonna Taylor case by Attorney General Daniel Cameron, to the monetizing of abusing a black woman by Tory Lanez, we as a community need to do better with the way we treat black women, don't just talk about it, be about it.
