On today's episode, I wanted to re-visit the book of Esther in the Message Bible. Esther chapters 1 - 2a.

In this passage, King Xerxes is advised to put away his wife, Queen Vashti after she refused to join his royal party and walk around in her crown in front of his guests.

I have gained a different perspective on this passage, one that I have never heard spoken about in churches, however, I would like to unpack it on today's episode.
