Am I the Only One who has been Guilty of Blaming GOD for things that didn’t necessarily go MY way?! I think not. There are a lot of us who have stamped “GOD” on our mess! But this is unfair, not only to Him, but to us too. Why is it sow hard for some of us to Own Our Own Mess? Tune in as I attempt to convey my perspective on this subject. I Know, I know, it’s been a hot minute since you have heard an episode. Let me just say, I’ve been through a tsunami type of crisis! But GOD! He has been a fence all around me! However, recently I discovered a poem I wrote back on September 1, 2006. It is entitled, “The Qualities You Posses” written by me, Teresa Reese. They say, “It will happen when you least expect it” or “Don’t go looking for it, it will find you”. Well, that’s exactly what happened to me in more ways than one! All I can say and will continue to say is, “But GOD”. Because I truly believe that by me Loving GOD, He showed me the depths of His unfailing love, at the strangest of times and in the most odd places. I’ve heard this before, “The Mind is a Terrible thing to waste!” And I share these sentiments. However, truth be told, I wasted my mind and my time for many years because I didn’t do “the work”, meaning the Self work and for this reason, the seeds I sowed reaped a harvest which took years to heal from. In fact, I am still on a healing journey. When going down such a road, you never truly know what effected you and how you were effected until a similar experience manifests. This recently happened to me after watching a movie! The movie was Wonderfully done, in my opinion, however, something occurred which later I realized was an unknown trigger for me. Why? Because I was a Victim of Domestic Violence in my Past and I never truly addressed it the way I probably should have!
