You knew this one was coming, didn't you? Kelly Lemon, a woman that inspires me beyond words. Her story is traumatizing, but also incredibly profound. A true tale of what can happen, if you have a strong desire to live and succeed, even when life hands you a lemon (pun intended!). My heart breaks, but my soul catches fire, every time I hear a piece of this story. This time she shares a bit more about what she really went through those first few years as a young girl, dealing with a sudden paralyzation of 25% of her body. Things I didn't even know, and she's one of my very best friends! The ups, the downs, and how she was able to rise above and actually embrace her new life, despite its unique challenges. There are so many layers to her story that I'll have to have her back on to dive into those parts, but for now I'll leave you with this. Enjoy!

This one is heavy. We hit on some pretty real topics from someone who has experienced them firsthand. We talk through leaving home at a young age, homelessness, addiction, questioning sexuality post rape, death, love, fear, hope, and faith. This man is real, he's honest, and through all the heaviness that is his journey he still manages to laugh, to connect, and to tell his story.
